how to use internet in the virtual machine created by microsoft virtual pc

The same way that you use it on the main OS.

Hmm then have you installed the motherboard/ethernet controller drivers to the "slave" OS?
If not, do it =P

Oh and could you tell us what OS is the virtual one?

the original os is windows xp and the virtual 1 is also windows xp ....i will install the dell drivers on the vitual pc.
