Inaccessible Boot Device BSOD Win2K
I am installing a new MB and processor (Biostar MGIV, 1.8G AMD to an Asrock w/ AMD 3000 Venice). When I reboot, Windows begins to load, after the Thermometer finished, I get the BSOD Inaccessible Boot Device
I suppose I just reload Win2K but I was hoping to avoid that. Anyone else seen this?
Note. Microsoft says to run the repair option with the Win2K CD. That didn't fix it. AUUGHLast edited by Big_Daddy; April 22nd, 2006 at 05:07 PM.

Here's what I did. I assumed that the new IDE driver was simply too much for an upgrade. I installed another copy of Windows2000 on another drive D: and reinstalled the programs that I wanted. I still have the old copy in case I find a way to install the IDE drivers before bootup.
System is working. Now if I can just find the boot.ini fileLast edited by Big_Daddy; April 24th, 2006 at 09:23 AM.
