USB Enclosure doesn't like my hard drive!
I just purchased a new USB enclosure because my old one didn't seem to work with my hard drive (Western Digial WD2500) When I would plug in the drive windows would give it a CODE 10: the device cannot start.
My new enclosure came today (ordered yesterday) and I tried my WD2500 in it and windows detected it...it said found new hardware.."USB DISK" and then about 30 seconds later I heard the dee-do sound that u hear when u disconnect a usb device. One time windows said there was a problem with adding the hardware your device may not work properly.
Does anyone know why windows/usb enclosures don't like my WD2500?
Thanks
Kris

Yes it was. I tried another smaller (160GB) drive and it worked fine.

Didn't like Transformers growing up. I was more into Speed Racer and DBZ.
