Hiya, got a 7900gt, installed it in the PC, and on some games its like watching an old black and white movie reel from the 1920's. There's bits of black and coloured crap flying all over the screen. Frame rates are good, but the picture is horrible.
Funny thing is, games like Oblivion and Ghost Recon will start off ok before deteriorating into a pile of flickery smattered mess over a period of minutes. No amount of tweaking the cards levels, raising/lowering option, having AA or not has solved this dliemma. Most sucky!
Buuuuuut...funny thing is, Quake 4 absolutely smoked. Fully ramped up and maxed out on all settings, it was a spectacular performance.
Can someone please tell me why Q4 was ace, and Oblivion and GR are flickery pieces of crap? I will thanks you forever.
