Hello everyone! So, I've been dealing with this part for about a year now, X9241MVI, and am stumped by it!! We ordered a batch of chips from a vendor about a year ago and they worked perfectly fine. When we ran out and ordered more, the chips didn't work. So, we had them send us chips from the same line as the first batch we got (so, they should work) and yet, they also didn't work. So, we've tried ordering them from a few different vendors, including Intersil which took over Xicor, and none of the chips have worked. Apparently, there have been problems with Xicor chips being initially programmed correctly, but they were actually unable to duplicate the programming. When I checked the signals on my huntron, and also in our prober, they came out the same as the known good chip's signals. So, to me that means there's definately something wrong Inside the chip itself. So, does anyone know a vendor that has correctly programmed chips or knows how we can correctly program them?? We really need to figure this out because they are on NT8E02 cards, which are quite abundant out there.
