hey guys and gals,
i got p4 3.2, asus 6800gt 256mb APG video card, 2 gig ram, asus P5P800 motherboard (775), MGE LC-B400ATX power supply 400watts max not sure about (rms) . Over last month or so my computer has been freezing alot getting blue screens. Some say IRQ is equal to or less than, other times it totally differents messages like usb bugcode or whatever. I used to think it was my usb modem but computer still gets blue screens with out it being plugged in. I cant even install fresh copy of windows xp with out getting blue screen during setup. Also mostly everytime computer is restarted video card driver tend to be uninstalled and i have install them again! iv tried all latest and old driver but still get same problem. Iv also noticed alot files that once worked are now corrupt and computer says there ethier missing or corrupt (espically exe files). Im thinking alot of this could alot to do with fact computer keeps randomally being frozen. Even during formating drive its been had blue screens. which is screwing up FAT or file headers or whatever cant remeber what its called lol. I have noticed that computer tend to freeze alot more when i am downloading somthing. Also on motherboard its 24 pin power connector and power supply is only 20 so 4 pins are not being used on board. Im wondering if its power issue, that serges or whatever causing different componets to freeze. Iv only had power supply for about yr and never used have problems tho the computer is on alot. Anyone have any ideas on whats wrong?
