Network Bus Enumerator problem
I was looking in my device driver list and noticed that my Network Bus Enumerator had a yellow exlcamation point next to it. I tried to update the driver but windows comes back and says it cannot found a better driver and it will continue to use the current one. I tried to disable/enable and this had no effect. I tried to uninstall the device and it would not let me. I'm not even sure what a Network Bus Enumerator is, but it's bugging me. Thanks.
my specs are in my sig.AMD 64 3500+ 939 2.2ghz
MSI K8N NEO-2 Nforce3
FX 6600 256mb AGP
SB Audigy
1.5gb PC3200 Ram

Is your computer a brand name or you did it yourself... i see in your spec that you have an FX6600, have you try to reinstall the drivers with the latest one...

I just reinstalled the Nforce3 mother board drivers and this fixed it. I'm just wondering how it got corrupted in the first place. And what does the network bus enumertor do anyway?
P.S. I built it myself.

Unlike everyone else, NVidia's chipsets do not present their integrated ethernet unit as a PCI-like device. They have this "Network bus enumerator" thing with the ethernet device(s) attached to that.
