Hi all,
I tried Ubuntu on my desktop and decided to get rid of it. I originally used PartitionMagic to create the partition, and I also used it to delete it. Since I wasn't prompted to restart after I made the change, I used my PC for a few more days without issue.
Decided it was time to shut down as the garage I live in gets extremely hot some days. Booted it back up after work yesterday....no detection of OS.
So far I've tried two things...changing the boot priority and repairing the MBR via Recovery Console. Before I pull the drive and borrow my roommate's PC to salvage the data off so I can reformat, what other things might save my system?
OS is XP Pro SP2, three drives in system total (74GB Raptor boot, 160GB and 320GB for bulk storage, all SATA).
