Startup Problem*

I woke up this morning to start my computer and I come to find out that, my computer has a startup error. Delightful. Instead of going through the usual Vaio then Ht then my admin screen ( windows xP) it came to this black screen saying that the CMOS loaded abnormal and I believe the chasis fan stopped working. I dont know what happened. I can still load and go to the regular screen despite this but I dont want to keep using my computer and things are fucked up with it. Doesnt the chassis fan have something to do with pushing hot air out ?

First of all, clean up your language.

Next, If I understand you all is well and loading correctly except a fan isn't working? Depending on where you live, you should be ok - just leave the case sides off for now, but you need to replace it. And yes most fans blow in or out.

They aren't hard to replace and they aren't expensive. I assume you aren't talking about a laptop are you?
