COMPUTER WON'T BOOT

I RECENTLY UPGRADED MY MOBO AND CPU BUT NOW WHEN I TURN MY COMPUTER ON, IT WOULD BOOT FOR 5 SEC BEFORE SHUTTING OFF. I LIGHT WILL STILL BE ON BUT THAT'S ABOUT IT..... CAN ANYONE HELP?

How far is it getting into boot? Do you ever see the windows loading screen or does it even make it past the bios?

Are there any kind of beeps coming from the PC before it shuts off?

What light is still on?

Also, if you could list the specs of your PC it would be helpful.

IT DOESN'T EVEN PASS THE BIOS.. YOU WOULD HEARD 2 LOUD BEEP THEN THE COMPUTER WOULD SHUT OFF, THE FAN WOULD STOP RUNNING BUT THE LIGHT ON THE FRONT WOULD SAY THAT THE COMPUTER IS STILL ON... CAN'T EVEN TURN IT OFF BY PUSHING THE ON/OFF BUTTON HAVE TO UNPLUG THE POWER IN ORDER TO MAKE IT TURN OFF

What type of computer is it? Self built, Dell, HP?

What kind of motherboard did you put into it? Those beeps are codes to tell you what's wrong, unfortnately their meaning varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Why have you got Caps Lock on? It gives some people the impression that you are shouting, and personally i think it's a little too hard to read.

Have you checked whether the video card is seated correctly?
