| New MoBo: Asus Striker or eVGA 680i SLI?
Hey guys!
I'm looking to put together a new "budget" PC.
Here are some of the specs I'm currently considering:
Core 2 Duo E6300
Asus Striker / eVGA 680i (maybe DFI, Gigabyte.. I dunno... I don't really care how much I spend on the MoBo cuz I plan on OC'ing)
1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR2 800 (Corsair, Patriot, OCZ, G-Skill something fancy)
450 - 500W PSU (Maybe Antec, FSP, OCZ etc. Not too expensive but reliable)
Graphics -- Trying to decide how much I wanna spend on a graphics card... Trying to decide between a 7950GT and a X1950XT (or maybe I'll go for a 7600GT or 7900GT and be done with it... I dunno yet)
Anyways, my question is this should I go for the nVidia nForce 680 architecture or should I stick to one of Intel's? Also, I kinda want quad-core support for the future....
Thanks,
Yotta
