Yesterday in the mail i got an mp4 player that i ordered a few weeks ago off of ebay and its basically a generic ipod... I plugged it into the computer and downloaded a couple of cds on it and it was working fine... then i get this alert that said something about not being able to save certain files, and the next thing i know my mp4 player is broken... i unplugged it from the computer and tryed to turn it on and the only thing thats happening is the screen is flashing and the computer won't recognize it as a removable disk anymore... i tryed charging it but that doesn't do anything....... I dont know what to do, if ya have any ideas pleeeezzzz let me know

well... see that is one of the problems... i've looked all over the box it came in and the player itself, thats why i said it was generic cause i can't find a brand name on it... you would think that something like that would be on there, i dunno
must be some lousy thingy. i bought a few of those before for spares cuz they were so cheap and something always broke in a few weeks. i dunno. either the screen cracked or the thing stopped getting recognised by the computer and stuff like that. my advice is to stay away from those cheap stuff and save your money and get one of those 1 gig Creative MP3 players. they are really cheap now and really good too.
btw, bring it back to the shop if you can and get a refund. or a new one if it has warranty
