| socket 775 heatsink installation
I'm looking for some tips on the best way to install a heatsink for the pentium 4 sockett 775. Past experieces getting the little plastic feet to clip to the underside of the motherboard have me seeking a better way. Of all the socket types, this is my least favorite. It seams like a bad design to me. |

There are screw down heatsinks availble with special plates that fit on the back side of your motherboard.
I'd look into one of those......I see them all the time on ebay worth the money. |

are you serious?
Ive been building computers for 10 years, and I cant think of an easier design than the simple push down clips of the 775 standard heatsinks... |

It's a MassCool that came with the cpu I got, but I upgraded for overclocking and what-not. If you want it pm me..Pic below
