Hey,
So I'm in a very bad situation. Well not totally, but listen to this.
So my friend has this ipod right, and he's the kinda guy that isn't really technologically smart, so I'm the go to guy.
Basically, today he tell me that the sound in his right headphone is going wonky. I have a listen, it's coming in and out, staticy, sometimes is fully there, or fully gone. My guess is the sound module is bunked inside. (He's only had this a few months, so i don't know why.)
Anyways he gives it to me after school to put songs on it, and says he doesn't care if the right side doesn't work, so I tell him I'll try and fix it. I didn't wana totally fuck his iPod up, so I transferred the songs, tried moving the headphones (inside the jack) around a bit, with very little force, but the sound wasn't budging, the only thing was if you put a little pressure towards one side the sound worked properly. Anyways I go to look for some song to listen to cuz I'm bored, right? And the next thing I hear is a little *crack*, just the slightest one, and all I see is a big pile-up of the LCD...So I'm just sitting there, mouth wide open, thinking ^&(&^^(^&*(^( I'm dead (cuz my friend is like a 300 lb guy, so...yea)
My idea now is to complain to Apple, send it in, get him a new one. Of course I'll tell him what happened tomorrow, and he should totally understand. Sound like an idea? Except I'm not sure what process to follow to RMA it...sicne I've never done this :P
P.S. Here's basically what it looks like.
