Hey all!
I took my computer apart about a week ago and gave it a good dusting as temps were higher than normal for this time of year. Nothing out of the ordinary routine.
However, when I went to boot it back up, it took me 3 times to get back "stable" into windows. Sometimes it won't even boot up properly. And even so, it seems as if there are no drivers installed. As if I just installed the card (x800pro) and its running without ati drivers. The screen for example, when scrolling down on browsers is taking it step by step and is not a smooth transition.
I've gone so far as to get driver cleaner out clean up all the old stuff, and reinstall the latest drivers from Ati. Seemed to work, after one restart, but then the next its back to the same old thing. I've tried multiple drivers, even omega and they all seem to work initially then drop off as if none were installed.
This is really bothering me to because I have no idea what could be causing this and I've been on these forums for a whiles now and i've seen nothing similar to my problem.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
