The system is attempting to access memory after it has been freed.
This usually indicates a system-driver synchronisation issue.

Installed Vista and havent been able to run windows normally since starting the install process which i cant seem to be able to reverse because of this blue screen problem.
Any help would be apprecieated

Is this a new build with a Vista install?

Has it had another OS on it before Vista?

Have you run any RAM diagnostics?

thanks for the reply it had an old os which i wanted to simply upgrade i reinstalled vista cleaning the old os. its working fine my only concern is that it will happen again when i update windows and drivers as that was what kicked it off previously

do drivers one at a time and isolate the bad driver. If it's a driver, you should be able to boot into safe mode just fine! If none of the drivers cause it then do each update one at a time until you find out which update it is!

i have reinstalled the updates again and it seems to be working fine although i am still installing programs and what not that i had on xp. it seemed to be some problem when i tried to upgrade whilst keeping my files and programs.
