Can't Add/Remove Programs

Ok, Im running Windows XP Home addition. Randomly some of my big programs stopped working, saying they're not installed properly. But to reinstall them I have to unistall their older versions. But wait, I open up Add/Remove programs window and I cant uninstall any of my programs. The CHANGE/REMOVE button is simply missing. *update* I installed Norton Anti-Virus just last night and there IS a change/remove button for that, but still not for my other programs. WTF? thanks

Hi there. Welcome to TIMO..

Well to fix your uninstall issue, download CCleaner, and that has a uninstall feature on it, so that should take card of that.
Do you have Ad-Aware or anything like it. I would suggest if you don't, get it and run it.
Let us know if this worked..

Thank you very much. Also dont know if it matters, but all of a sudden hardly any of my programs are listed in the add/remove programs window, only a handful

Yeah I'm not real good at fixing windows problems. I myself use linux most of the time, so I'm not real good at handling windows problems. But the CCleaner program I linked to will list all of the programs installed on your computer, and you can uninstall from there. Just go to the Tools option in the program...
