| Proliant ML350 Server BIOS
Hey im trying to get into the BIOS of a server we have here at work. I have a RAID card in it and I set it up for a RAID 5 configuration but everytime I load the Windows Server 2K3 CD and then the RAID drivers when it comes to rebooting the comptuer after the format and the copying files (where it should then boot off the HDD and begin the GUI install) it just goes back into the CD setup, it doesnt even ask me to press any key to continue with the CD. I also noticed that the computer looks like it has a MBA (Managed Boot Agent) that isnt letting it see the HDD to boot from... or maybe its not seeing the raid array? Not sure either way.... im stuck! I get a PXE-E61 error (PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable)which i searched on google and came back with some apparent issues, like HDD cannot be found...
Any suggestions? Its a HP Proliant ML50 G2 server with the included RAID card which has the DAT72 drive only attached to it, it also provides the VGA on that card. I added an additional card in the server (Smart Array 641) RAID controller which has the 6 HDD's run to it... there are 4-36.4gb and 2-18.2gb Hard Drives. I want the 4-36's in a RAID 5 and the other two as standalone drives. I thought that giving a mental picture of the server setup would help you some... ohh and below is a link to a picture of the server off of HP's site. http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/s...tage_1ghz.html
