os is Windows XP SP2
mb is Asus A7n8X2.0
I had recently a checksum error on start up and replaced the motherboard battery
the system is working fine (as far as I can tell) but when the computer starts up or restarts I get an Award flash utility screen for a few seconds
then a female voice telling me that the system is going to start the operating system
can anyone tell me how to get rid of this please
thank you |

You need to go into the bios, i believe its the advance settings, and the speech reporting. From there you can disable the obnoxious female computer voice |

Instead of beep codes you get this woman voice....
As groundzero pointed out it can be disabled in the bios.. |
