| Easy Answer - Please Help
I just recently installed a program, and after installing it, it did not work. I tried uninstalling and it did not work, all I got was an error.
So, I deleted the programs folder in the drive I installed it in, but how can I delete everything that the program had put on my computer, so my computer never even knew that the program was installed in the first place.
I am guessing it's something in my registry or something like that.
I am using Windows XP fyi |

It didn't get rid of anything really. If I insert the disc for the installation of the program, it still thinks that it is installed on my system. So I can't even attempt to reinstall or fix the program. |

Did you have it check for registry issues? |

Hey, I gotta question: how do you know this is an easy answer? If you know this is an easy answer then you must know the answer, right?
Deleting the program in the program list was the worst think you could do. Have you tried a sysrem restore to a point before the program was installed? You should try that first. |

Possibly try re-installing the program.
Thereafter, go to Add/Remove Programs and try removing the program. |

| Restore is still the best bet for now. |
