    Compaq Laptop Power problem

     
    Greetings all,

    A Friend of mine has Compaq laptop that they haven't turned on for about two months, when she went to turn it on nothing. The power light is orange. And the scroll and caps lock keys keep flashing orange, but nothing. She unplugged everything and re-plugged nothing. She took out the battery, nothing, put the battery back, nothing. She even tried taking out the RAM and reseating it.
    Still no life.
    I have tried searching the net but the issue is generic enough that it is hard to get a hit.

    My forte is truly desktops and not so much Laptops, anyone have any ideas or suggestions??
