Help!! Have I killed it??

I have used Gigabyte easy tune software to reset default settings on a K8NS ultra mb..

Ever since it has beeped a memory error when attempting to start up. continuous long beeps.

The memory works fine in another mb.

I have tried clearing cmos & removing battery/shorting connections

It has a dual bios If that makes any difference.

I think I have killed it but I would love to save it if possible,

Thanks

Pete.

Nah, I don't think you killed it. Have you tried different memory in it? Try going into the BIOS and loading the "failsafe defaults" and/or manually setting the DRAM timings to auto.

Some boards take longer then others with the battery out method of clearing the CMOS. I've had one board take 5 mins, and another board took 1hour. It depends for some reason..

Do you have some different memory you can try in it? You could always try leaving the battery out overnight. I have some OCZ memory that did the same thing to me. It gave me fits trying to figure the damn stuff out. Give the contacts a nice cleaning with some alcohol or acetone. A little oxidation on the contacts could cause problems.
