    Radeon X1950 Pro 512mb

hey I've had the x1950 for about 3 weeks now with absolutely no problem but about 2 days i ago i saw my screen doing something weird, it left watermarks on my desktop, for example, i would have Firefox open then when i closed it I could see like a watermark/shadow of the outline on my desktop, and another thing when ever i have something open i can see through it....that doesn't just go for the web browser and folder, i just got a new game, TimeShift and when there is a cut seen that shows i can see the Icons on me desktop... usually when i have a problem i can fix it easily by searching on the net or on my own, but this ones got me bummed.
If you guys need more info or anything just tell me

What brand and model of monitor do you have?

Just for the heck of it, you could try restarting and see if it goes away, if it does it's probably a driver bug.

But it really sounds like your monitor has been burned in.

i have a 19 inch view sonic and yes i already have tried restarting...

EXreaction, you said it may be burned in, but when i open a game the old watermark goes and the new "imprint" is there. i have no idea about monitors being burned in but is that suppose to happen?

oh yea...i actually have 2 of the same exact monitors one in my room and the other in my parents, i'll try the other monitor and tell you guys what happens

Ok, then it probably is just a bad driver. Update your video card drivers to the latest version.

Yup, its burned in for sure, i checked it with my other monitor ...so no driver problems... still don't know exactly how it got burned in, I always either have the monitor turned off or on a blank screen saver when i don't use it.
Doesn't matter I'm just going to return it to Costco and get a new one
