My pc will start to boot, but then goes into dpms off mode. This is our business's server and no one can work without accessing the application.
This problem started after i had purchased a KVM switch that included the server along with 2 other pcs being connected. This worked for over a week. Got to work this a.m. and employees could not access the server. Usually all i have to do is go to server and select application to bring up. Then employees can access. Not today. My other pcs work fine, I even switched connections on KVM switch and switched cords. They work fine.
I took server off KVM and hooked a monitor directly to server and also hooked mouse and keyboard back up. Same thing happens. The server boots up to the Window XP screen then comes the blue box DPMS off mode.
Can anyone help me?
