CloneCD in SafeMode

Have tried to run CloneCD in SafeMode only to get a message that a driver cannot be loaded. Has anyone tried this. Have used Nero in this state and it cuts down on coasters. Thanks.

something is gravely wrong with your system if your needing to go into safemode to cut down on coasters.

Safemode does not load anything but the most essential of drivers and most likely it doesnt load something that CloneCD requires.

Eitherway, you should consider the need to format and start from scratch or do some serious cleaning on your system.

i had clonecd installed on an older pc that kept burning bad cd's. to solve this, go into the options and set the burn speed to 16x and it should burn ok. if this is your problem.

on a side note, faster is not always better. I always burn my cd's/dvd's at a low speed. it just eliminates a lot of burn issues.

I burn in SafeMode to prevent virus scanners, etc from kicking in. Burning at a low speed without a doubt stops writing from getting ahead of reading. Thanks.
