Gigabyte GA M61P S3 Dual Channel Prob
I have just purchased the above mobo along with 2 gigs dual channel DDR2 OCZ memory modules. The memory is fine because the PC will POST when the memory is in slots 1 and 3, but when i put the sticks in 1 & 2 or 3 & 4 for Dual mode it will not POST. Is there something I am missing here? Is there a setting the BIOS to activate the dual channel mode?
I tried one stick in each of the slots to test and they only worked in slots 1 and 3.
Under the Advanced Chipset Settings it shows the following:
DIMM1 105ns
DIMM2 75ns
DIMM3 105ns
DIMM4 75ns
I attempted to change the DIMM to all say 105ns as those were the slots that were working, but I did not get a POST when i did this. Other "ns" options are 75ns, 105ns, 127.5ns, 195ns, and 327.5ns
My MOBO manual said that in order for Dual Channel to work the sticks should be in 1 & 2 or 3 & 4.
Specs: Gigabyte GA M61P S3 MOBO, 2x1GIG OCZ DDR2 800, AMD X2 5000+ Black Edition Brisbane 2.6Ghz running OC'd 3.2Ghz, 500Watt PSU, GeForce 8600 GT 256mb.

There is nothing in the bios specifically about Dual Channel. The only things are the voltage in the BIOS and the following in the Advanced Chipset Menu:
- GPUR Bank Flip
- K8<->NB HT Speed
- K8<->NB NT Width
- DRAM Configuration
- Set Memory Clock
- CKE Power Down Mode
- CKE Power Down Control
- DDRII Timing Items
- CAS# Latency [5t]
- 1T/2T Comman Timing [2t]
- TwTrCommand Delay [3t]
- Trfc0 for DIMM1 [105ns]
- Trfc2 for DIMM2 [75ns]
- Trfc1 for DIMM3 [105ns]
- Trfc3 for DIMM4 [75ns]
- Write Recovery Time [6t]
- Precharge Time [3t]
- Row Cycle Time [23t]
- RAS to CAS R/W Delay [5t]
- RAS to RAS Delay [4t]
- Row Precharge Time [5t]
- Minimum RAS Active Time [15t]
- PCIE Spread Spectrum
- SATA Spread Spectrum
- HT Spread Spectrum

Check if your OCZ memories are 2.1V. I know the mobo defaults to 1.8V, but you can change it probably.
