HP CP3505 Installation/Print issues
Hey guys,
An exec. here at my company bought this printer for his office, and we have had nothing but issues with it. He wanted it "networked" so he could print to it remotely, and we had a very difficult time getting it installed.
Ultimately, we had to remove every other printer he had installed, and install this one as his sole printer, and then he was finally able to print. He is traveling this week, and without fail, he can no longer print to the printer. My suspicion, without talking to him yet, is that he installed a new printer wherever he is, and that has now broken the cp3505 functionality.
I have been trying to just install it on my system to test it, and I continue to get installation errors - basically, the driver install pegs my spoolsvc at 96-99%, and won't resolve itself. When I end that process, I get an error that the driver was unable to be installed. The only other printer I have on this system is an HP 6L.
He's running XP, on a Dell Latitude D430.
Any advice/feedback/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
