| Forgot my admin. Password HELP!!
Yeah, i just found my really old computer that i want to get on but i forgot my password.. i've tried the websites that are supposed to help me but they're to confusing .. my computer is Windows 2000 a really old one to i really could use some help..  |

Not sure if this method works for 2000.
At the log in screen press and hold, CTL, ALT and double tap DEL. If the login screen shows up enter administrator for the user. The password is blank.
You could also try the admin. account in safe mode. During boot press F8 or F7 (Depending on mother board it could be anything) and choose safe mood. Now you should have the option to login with the admin. account. Once logged in go to the control panel and reset the password for the locked out account.
There are many other methods.... |
