HDD failing?

Hi everyone!

I think I have a good grasp of my issue, but want to bounce my suspicion off of my pals here to make sure I'm headed in the correct direction.

Upon starting up the laptop (Toshiba Satallite P25 - S520) I get the following message:

For Realtex RTL 8139(x)/8130/810X
PCI Fast Ethernet Controller v2.13 (020326)

Intel UNDI, PXE -2.0 (build 082)
Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel

PXE - E61 Media Test Failure Check Cable
PXE - M0F - Exiting PE ROM

It appears to me trying to boot from the network instead of the hdd, which it shouldn't do. It's not connected to my router via cable, it uses wireless, hence it giving the cable check error. Booting from the network is last on the boot priority list.

So, is my guess correct?

If this happened out of the clear blue, your drive is more then failing...

And out of the clear blue means you weren't under the hood breaking things.
