usually when I get a couple of glitches like that, its because I overclocked my video card too far and its overheating.
So, here's a few things that might help:
check the card and make sure its seated properly, the fan on the GPU is spinning, the heatsink isnt loose, and that the additional power cable (if attached) is secure.
what video card do you have? what is the wattage rating on your PSU? have you changed any hardware or software right before the problem started occuring? Does it do this in all games or just this one?

Well first off I have never overcolcked my video card. The card is seated properly and I'm not quite sure if the fan is spinning properly (but I can hear it sometimes, and I do have a dual fan blowing up on it). I have a Nvidia Geforce FX 5500 (yes its old), my PSU wattage is 200W. And this problem only occurs in this game |

I'm not the vid card expert on here, but I'm thinking that 5500 isn't really much of a step above on-board (I know, cuz I bought one years ago ). I would imagine that is your problem.
If you still have the box for the game, check the minimum requirements for video card. |

roll back to an older driver maybe?
run driver cleaner after uninstalling your current set. |

That's what I was thinking.. ^
Did you run a driver cleaner in between the drivers?
Also, have you checked your temps on the GPU while that is happening. It could be a overheating problem. Maybe the heatsink is dirty, or the fan isn't working.
Have you checked for that? |
