I have HP workstation wx 6000 with pre-installed windows xp 64bit. I have formated it for some reason. when I did reinstall windows again, I got this massage.
your processor does not seem 64bit support??????
I tried to install 32bit but the same problem exist. I tried to install Red hat Linux 64bit and 32bit but the problem is still exist.

1. When did you get this msg (after sucessfully installing windows, or somewhere in the setup while installing?)

2. Why did you decide to format and reinstall?

3. You say that in Red Hat the problem still exists, what problem would that be? Do you get the same message?

I thought that the machine is 64bit and I tried to re-install windows 64bit or redhat 64bit.

but now I tried redhat 32bit, and it works. the machine support 32bit only.

thanks for the replay
