| Daemon Tools doesn't work...?!
When I put in the CD for the game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, nothing happened, I tried to mount it with Daemon Tools but it told me to put in the CD (which was in).
How can this be fixed? I really want to play the game... |

Daemon tools is for mounting ISO files - not CDs. If you have the CD, you don't need DT. If you want to use the CD to make an ISO image, you have to use another program to make the ISO. Search Google for "ISO recorder". Use that.
Beware. ISO Recorder won't copy protected CDs.

I tried that but then when I tried playing the game I got the message "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 has stopped working" and the game closed. I use Vista, is there an update or something available so that the game can be playable? |

I don't know. Have you checked for updates at the game publisher's website?
Is this a genuine game CD? If it is not, the game might be registered and activated on another PC. If that is the case, it may just refuse to run. |

I don't think there are any such updates, the game is very old.
By genuine CD do you mean the CD that was bought in the shop? I remember some years ago when the original CD got corrupted somehow, so I had to copy the game file to another CD... |

I don't know what to tell you. I have never used this game.
The company still exists. Here's the support page: Aspyr - Support
Open a ticket. |
