Cannot Connect to Internet (Think Problem is Because of AOL Parental Controls)

Hi.

I cannot connect to anything on the Internet except for AIM (AOL instant Messenger). I believe the problem is because of AOL parental controls. Before, I just signed in at start-up with my AOL username and password and when I click the Internet (Firefox) my homepage displayed. Now, the AOL parental control box to sign in with does not show up when I start my computer. So I cannot get any internet connection Broadband Wise.

Any Help/Thoughts are appreciated.
I really need this computer up and running as it is my main computer so if you have anything to add please do so as quickly as possible.

im trying to figure it out and i cant... mine just stopped working i never imagined it could be aol parental controls which keeps popping up. i tried uninstalling aol but it will not let me, says i must call customer service. i have previously spent hours and hours on the phone with aol and will not waste anymore time. i was wondering if you found a soultion?

Just weighting in I have the same problem. I repeatedly (every day) have to do aol parent control repair to fix it. Then happens again. Parent control does not allow finish startup.
AOL people not helpfull at all for this issue. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!
A parent who needs parent controls left on.
