new help! sth wrong with my windows???

hey guys

pls help me with this problem

i don't know what happened to my computer

when i log on to my computer it just loads up my back ground and nth else

it doesn't load up any programs at startup, don't have any desktop icons, don't have the windows startup bar

i can only load things through task manager, when i open task manager there are no programs opened

pls help can't seem to do anything to fix it

i tried restoring to earlier date but the problem still persists!

Did you make ANY type of change prior to this issue starting?

In Task Mgr, try to run: Explorer.exe

How did you do that if you couldn't log on? Which method did you use?

Have you tried selecting "Last Known Good Configuration"? You get that option by pressing F8 when starting the PC.
