WHEN EVER I PUT SERVICE PACK 2 ONTO MY COMPUTER THE SYSTEMS VIDEO GOES CRAZY. I CAN ONLY ACCESS THE LOWEST VIDEO RESOLUTION AND MOST OF THE PROGRAMS ON THE COMPUTER WONT RUN AT THIS LOW LEVEL OF RESOLUTION. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING ON?

my computer make and model is sony vaio pcv-rs 312v

Download the latest video drivers for your PC and install them. If you see any video drivers in Add/Remove Programs now, remove them first.

When you first start the PC, press F8 and select VGA Mode from the menu. That will allow you to get in safely despite video problems. Remember this tip!
