Even if it's the total program with antivirus, version 6.5 doesn't get updated. Bad idea. If it doesn't have definitions for new viruses, it's useless. No company is going to update an old product. You are not protected. Besides, it doesn't do spyware.

You need to scan with a different program now. Use Counterspy for spyware and AVG 8.0 for AV.

Your using Steam eh, well I had a similar problem with Steam once where none of my games worked, if I recall correctly I uninstalled steam (and probably all the games as well, not delete, uninstall) and then reinstalled everything and it worked fine afterward. Did you get FEAR through Steam?
