Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T

I tried to make a copy of my hard drive with Acrosnis True Image and for some reason it failed. Since then (it might a coincidence) but when I turn on my computer I get the following message.

"Sec slave hard disk S.M.A.R.T, satus Bad, Back up and replace
Press F1 to resume".

then I press F1 and everything looks normal.

I have acces to my secondary slave hard drive without problems.

Thanks

S.M.A.R.T. is an early warning device telling you that the drive is going bad or at least some part of it is no longer passing the criteria spelled out. If it is a Western Digital, you can download their diagnostics which will display the S.M.A.R.T. results.

I would do as it says, back up your hard drive and replace it.
SMART is usually a reliable diagnosis, and it is wise to do what it says.
