Welcome to TechIMO.
Please wait a full day to bump a thread. Not sure why you'd bump it 1 minute after you made it anyways.

Everything is compatible in your build thus far.
BUT! Its not a very good build price/performance.

Go with a Intel Quad Core. They perform better than AMD's offerings.

If you dont plan on having a QUAD GPU setup, no reason for a 1K power supply. A 700W should leave you lots of headroom for upgrades and SLI. This OCZ is pretty cheap after rebate.

Get a better GPU. ATI 4850. Or 9800GTX

I would personally go with two smaller Hard Drives. So if the drive fails, you dont lose everything.

sorry for bumping that post wasn't originally a bump i didn't realise html coding was off and had <A HREF'd all the links for newegg (forgot they do that automatically if i copy the url) so i said sorry in my 2nd post cuz it was a big mess then went back and edited it and changed 2nd post to bump instead of what it read b4 >.>

i'm not good with calculating wattage requirements but i saw that my xfx geforce 9600 gt had a 400 watt min requirement this was the biggest antec truepower psu i could find (brand recommended by a computer techie bud of mine) and i figured the extra wattage wouldn't hurt if i overdid it a bit. i was also going to be running dual 9600's instead of running 1 9800 i figured the output would be better in the end and i could live without upgrading to dual 9800's for a while

with the Newegg.com - DIAMOND 4850PE3512 Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards i found 2 combo deals where i can get the processor i was already going to get and a 1 tb samsung hd with the 2nd one how much better would the graphics be running that video card dual SLI'd and if i'm doing that is there any motherboard in the 100-150 range that would be better at supporting this set up i'll also look into an intel quad core but i'll have to find another motherboard that supports the sockets
