Dell Inspiron 8600 System Modular Bay error

Hey, I recently dropped my laptop, and now it will not operate. As I turn it on, it almost totally boots up, then gives the error message: System Modular Bay is not fully inserted or has some other problem. I replaced the hard drive, and get the same results. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

Have you tried pulling the cd/dvd drive out and trying to boot it?
