hard disk not responding

i'm unable to login to the windows when i switch it on the cpu, it showing blank on desktop.
nothing appear on desktop, so what should i do for this issue plz give me steps to get back my hard disk as previously.

First off, I would make sure all the connectors are plugged in correctly.
If the computer doesn't turn on at all (the fans are not spinning), then it's likely to be a Power Supply issue.
If the fans are turning, make sure the CPU fan isn't stopped by a wire. I had that happen, and the computer refused to boot properly, due to the temperature.

Dont confuse the desktop with the monitor display. The desktop only appears in Windows. If you see nothing at all, it's called the display or monitor.
