COmputer being stupid... ASking for system disk

I have 2 hard drives, 1 sata and 1 ata. I have 2 burners, 1 CD and one DVD. The DVD burner uses sata and the CD uses that otehr type. Everytime i turn on my computer
It asks me for my sytem disk... And goes please insert system disk... and i have no choice It does this when i remove the sata drive completely or when i remove the ATA drive completely. This problem can be fixed if i just go to boot menu and boot from my hard drive. Bbuut i have to do it EVERY time...

Ok.. i figured out the problem..

It appears that it is booting from the 640gb hard drive... but idk y it has the error. I have an OS on each hard drive but thats not really a problem because When i boot from my old ATA hard drive it lets me choose which OS though. So how to make my old ata drive boot first

Go into the Bios and change the boot order to boot to hard drive first.

When it boots up, press the key that it says to get to "Setup". It's usually the Del key

All computers are stupid. They only do what they are told or programmed to do. It's up to you to be smart enough to tell it what to do.

Look for boot sequence.
