Stereo Wont work

I have a 91 dodge dakota 4x4 V8 and i just took my head unit out to wire in amp and when i went to put it back in it will not work. the fuse is not blone. The way the thing work is the screen slides down to allow cds to go in and out but the screen will not turn on neither will it fold out like its supposed to and i used another head unit that i had to see if that would work and that doesnt work either.

Is there a fuse on the Head unit? Did you check your vehicle's fuse box?
