What do you guys thinks about this config?
Are there any suggestions or remarks? It's the first time building a system myself, so I don't know if there are any incomptabilities in it, please let me know.
I don't know yet which monitor to take, so the one I chose is just for setting up the build. ALTERNATE
I'm terribly sorry for placing it in the wrong section... maybe someone is able to replace it. Thanks for the effort.

HI, and welcome to TIMO.
That's a very nice getup you have put together. But really, your paying a premium for a Motherboard that most people don't take advantage of.
DO you plan on running 2x 9800gx2's anytime? If you don't, your wasting a lot of money on that motherboard. You could easily get by with a 750i board that would handle everything the same, and cost half the price. |

I don't think that you need a 1200W power supply. A 750W or better would be fine, I'm sure.
Otherwise, all seem compatible.

Thanks for the quick responses! It should be running all the time, yes, or at least 3/4, day and night. Will a 750W power supply suffice for this system and for future updates of this system?
And another question: won't cooling become a problem? So do I need to build in another cooler or not?
Thanks for the advise!!

Yes - 750W is fine even if you add a third video card. |

Would it be possible to add another vid-card then without having problems? Just a question
Thanks for the help! I'll choose another PSU and order my system |

I would get a P45 based board and go with a 4870 instead of the 9800GTX

So what you're telling is that i'm able to get 3 9800GX2's in one pc without any issues?
@pullmyfoot: I'm going for 2 9800GX2's, not GT's. |

Just get one 4870x2 then. It will destroy and NVIDIA setup. Or two 4870x2s in crossfire if your crazy. Which is completely unnecessary since 1 is enough to run any game at max settings and resolution smoothly. |
