Monitor Cut Out During Boot.

Hey guys, bit of a problem here. I went to turn my PC on today, everything was running fine but then after the windows logo screen my monitor cuts out. I get the no sigal input sign and the it goes into sleep mode. I know windows is still running because I can hear it login if I enter my password.

It boots in safe mode fine and will boot when I uninstall the drivers for my graphics card, just with a hideous resolution. I've done a virus scan, nothing. I updated my GPU drivers, still nothing. So here I am.

My hardware is:
Asus M2N Deluxe MB.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+
3GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM
nVidia 8800GT 512mb
Cooler Master 650W PSU

What I think is happening is Windows isn't loading my graphics drivers. It was working fine yesterday and I don't think Windows upated.

Thanks for the help.

The only solution I can think of is backing up my data and doing a clean install of windows. Unfortunately my windows disc is about an hour and a half drive away so it seems my desktop is out of action until I get time to go get it.

If anyone thinks of something else give me a buzz. ^_^

P.S Shameless bump.
