Cannot boot from HDD(No hdd was found STOP ERROR incl)

Hi, so I've had a fully functional homebuild pc for 7 months without any problem. I boot it up this morning and it won't boot .

I found the root cause of the problem by using Startup Repair from the vista CD and the cause was it cannot find any harddisk.

I unplugged all wires connecting to and from hdd and motherboard, plugged them in again and it still won't recognize the HDD.

Heres info from the diagnose:
------------------
Systemdisk =
Windows-folder =
AutoChk run = 0
Number of rootcauses = 1

Tests completed
------------------
Result: completed. Errorcode = 0x0

and rest useless info.

I'm using a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB.

So you don't see the drive in the BIOS?

Nope, it only recognizes my two dvd-readers.

And of course my cpu, graphics card and so on. Just the HDD missing

Resetting the CMOS didn't help either.
