gtx 260 psu requirements

will 48 amps on the 12 v rails on a 600 w psu ( thermaltake toughpower ) be able to handle a gtx 260 with 3 hdds , q6600 @ 3.0 , 1x4 gb ram , 2 dvd drives and 2 casing fans and casing lights .......

thnx bro but i need to know that with my currenct specs will the psu be able to handle it and btw im talking bout hte xxx that is clocked @ 640 !!! anyway i also forgot to mention that i have an asus xonar sound card ... thnx again for the help karma

is the GTX 260 your talking about one of the regular ones, or one of the newer 216 core models?

just wondering, cause I'd like to know for myself if your PSU will handle it fine, been thinking of grabbing one those monsters for myself if I can, 216 core GTX 260, GTX 280 has 240 & stock GTX 260 only has 192... for close to same price as a standard model if one could get a nicely clocked 260 with the 216 Cores, it'd be a real good replacement for a GTX 280 for way less.

My PSU's a bit more powerful, but I'd like to know anyways...

also wondering what something like that in SLI would require, not that I'll be doing that for sure, but just curious.

Plenty of headroom for upgradeability as well
