Removing Safe Guard Easy

Hi

I recently bought a HP NC6000 and this is encypted with Safe Guard Easy and I need to remove this. I don't want anything from the Hard Drive just need to be able to put an operating system on it.

Posting info on an Open to the Public Message board defeats the purpose of protecting computers...If someone were to steal the lappy from you, you wouldn't want us helping them access your info...

Getting an new hard drive would be something to consider.

Safe Guard Easy is for data theft protection and as Steve is saying you might have bought this laptop totally legitimately you might not. Either way we have no way of knowing and TIMO doesn't provide information on bypassing security measures. I'd suggest talking to the person or place that you bought it from and seeing if they can help.
