msn messenger contact adding to address book

I have HTC TYTN with MSN messenger still included.

When I log into messenger it makes me put all my contacts into my address book.

This is a major pain. When I go into my address book there is over 100 some contacts with email address. I cant find a answer or any way to stop messenger from adding the people in my contact list to my address book.

I really hope they fix this or a way to patch it so it will stop. If anyone can help me that would be great. Oh and is there a way to stop your phone from telling after u sent a txt message that it went threw it kind of annoying.
