avg can't uninstall

avg can't uninstall

right im having problems with avg free edition i installed it and found that its not the one i wanted so tryed to uninstall but got can't remove because can't create back up wat will i do tryed using tune up utilities 2008s uninstall program but got same answer tryed perfect uninstaller still got same answer wats the best free quick way to get it off my pc without reinstalling windows plz help thx jeff

Revo uninstaller should do it...
However you will probably get an error message during the uninstall process, just ignore it and continue with the uninstall

You can always reinstall the same version and then use Add/Remove Programs.

thx man u just saved me from about 3 hours of reinstalling windows. it was just bugging me why i couldn't remove it but thx to u its gone thank god lol if i could repay u i would get u so wasted u wouldn't no where u r lol thx again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!i did have a lil bit of trouble getting revo to remove it but got there in the end all thx to u!!!!! lol in revo i had to use the slow process option to remove it but wahay i did it lmao if i havent said it enough thx thx thx thx thx thx thx lol big man jeff and im a noob to the net and pc in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Well you do still need a local Antivirus installed...
Neither Internet security or Spybot will protect you from Virus's
If you didnt have any love for AVG, you can always try Avast, or Anti-vir

Unfortunately that means very little 3 years later...
Hell now-a-days Norton is in one of the ones to beat!!!
Things change too rapidly to quote from anything older than 6 months (if even that)

Thanxs for solving my problems too, i uninstalled at last avg, but i want to ask you: my problems started when avg couldn't update properly , and some anoying message come up saying: Generic host for win 32 failed !!! and my internet conection failed at once, could this be conected somehow with avg problems i had? now after i uninstalled avg ,internet is working just fine ,thanx to you

me again:
'Generic host for win 32 failed' showed me again and again and terminates my internet conection and i have to restart pc, what shoud i do
help please!!
