Hotmail Window Closes when I try to open a message

Has anyone else had this problem? Everytime I try to open a hotmail message, the whole IE explorer window closes, even if I have tabs that have non-hotmail sites on them. This problem only happens on my desktop PC and not my laptop. It's driving me crazy! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is the user/windows profile. Logon as different user and test. If it works rename your profile to whatever.old and reboot system. Logon and test, of course you will need to reconfigure a few things but better than rebuilding the system
